Perfect Quality Journal and Pen , I’m addicted to this website! 😍
1. Great design, from the cover, the thick paper, to the metallic edges - this is a premium product. Looks great in my bookshelf! 2. Although I prefer classic literature over contemporary romance and fantasy (with some exceptions) this book got me into book journaling and analysing what I read. 3. I was one of the people who got some typos in the reading companion such as the star reviews and I wish the brand did something about it but I still love the journal. 4. The Wishlist after the long TBR feels so unnecessary. It supports the booktok overconsumption with people buying a lot of book but they never read enough. Maybe customisable lists or challenges would be a fun addition or even a few more pages for full reviews !
Absolutely obsessed!! This thing is ADORABLE I am so so excited to write all my cutie little book reviews in it. Only thing I’d say is as a uk girlie, with price of shipping too it’s quite expensive 🥲 totally understandable why though and it’s just a personal thing! Really happy with it, don’t regret this purchase at all!

The front cover is absolutely lovely, with beautiful illustrations throughout, and I'm really pleased to see the star ratings now printed on the quick reviews—such a thoughtful touch! Just a small note: there's still a typo in the TBR instructions. The line reads, “The same happens to book, and I plead...” — it should say books instead of book. In my copy, the ribbon appears to have been folded and glued while bent to the non-shiny side, which is a bit of a shame. A few pages were also affected by a minor manufacturing fault—one page has some paper scraped off, and a few of the following pages have small indents. Overall, it’s still a beautiful product, with just a few small areas that could use a bit of attention!

Beautiful design, high-quality cover, and an amazing purchase! The only reason I docked a star is because the quick reviews portion only has the outline of stars on the first row. On the original reading journals (see pic), all the rows have the outline. I personally would prefer it if the reading companion had the stars also for the rows.

Because I live in Belgium I had to pay extra costs when it came to my country (so for people who live in Belgium) but it’s all so worth it! Its super cute and everything and more I could dream of! I’ll have a lovely time using this!
Literally my best friend I love her so much, it makes reading so much more fun that it already is because I get to make things cute and remember things in a beautiful way after finishing a book.

This is the most beautiful journal I’ve ever owned, but I’m very sad about how quickly the foil tarnishes :( I’ve read the care instructions and am aware it’s recommended to be very gentle with the journal and that the foiling is expected to tarnish *over time*; however, I didn’t expect it to tarnish in less than 48 hrs with minimal use. It was delivered yesterday afternoon; it’s only been in my room, and I’ve only used it on my desk and on my bed nor have I been rough with it at all, and it’s tarnished this bad 😩 If you apply hand lotion a lot throughout the day, I wouldn’t recommend this b/c I noticed it would tarnish and the black ink from the fine lines would smudge SO easily after I had just lotioned my hands. Maybe I just got a defective journal b/c I haven’t seen anyone else complain about this. It’s still a gorgeous journal, but I wish the design was done using a more permanent medium.
I came across this store on TikTok a few months ago and waited to see if I wanted to buy anything (as I'm very OCD about journals down to the fine print and open-ability). I finally gathered the courage to try them and then I saw the prices LOWER because it hadn't switched to USD or whatever it was. This Sugar + Spice collection felt like Beauty and the Beast come to life. I feel like I'm walking around with literal works of stained glass art, I'm almost scared to write in them! I am very picky with journals and pens as I am VERY neurodivergent, and never have I gathered so many items so quickly that I made a shop my go to stationary store. You've won a very happy customer for life. Thank you so much, I am so excited to watch you grow. This will be the same for all the journals I bought (and I bought quite a few lol); these journals are AMAZING. The texture feels like leather, the paper is amazing quality as it's not too thin and doesn't bleed. The art on the cover is pure magic.

There’s plenty of space to do detailed book reviews, which makes it perfect for capturing all the important aspects of each read. If you’re looking for high-quality, aesthetically stunning reading journals, this collection is hands down the best I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend!
Honestly this has surpassed my expectations, it was quite expensive since I have to pay 25 extra euros in the whole order because I live in Spain but still worth it every euro .
The Reading Companion is so much more beautiful in real life, photos don't do it justice! I am glad I got this instead of the full journal because I'm terrible at keeping up with things and don't feel like writing reviews for every book, especially as I listen to a lot of audiobooks and read mostly library books so can't always look at quotes etc which leaves a lot of space in the full reviews so tend to only use them if it's a book that gives me a lot to say and that I own. There's plenty of space without it feeling intimidating and I find it so useful to reference quickly and track my reading. This is me being really really nitpicky but there are some errors like in the photo attached where it should say 'the same happens to bookS' instead of 'book' and I also do wish it wasn't American English but that is personal preference. I do also wish there was a way to note if it was a library book, borrowed from a friend, or purchased, for example. Other than that it's perfect!
