Hello! We are the Quirky Team. We currently based in Lonsdale SA, and work in an open plan warehouse that feels unexpectedly homey!? If you were to peek your head in, you’d find a space filled with plants and colour, tunes always playing in the background and a bunch of women who can’t stop yapping.

Customer Care Assistant

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, quick-thinking customer care angel to join our team at The Quirky Cup Collective.

This is an on-site casual position, working roughly 3–4 hours per day, most days of the week, at our Lonsdale warehouse.

What You’ll Do

  • Reply to customer enquiries via email and additional channels with warmth, clarity, and delicious grammar.
  • Help resolve order questions, shipping hiccups, and general “uh-ohs” with care and common sense.
  • Liaise with our dispatch team to track and manage orders.
  • Maintain accurate notes and follow-ups so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Learn our products inside out
  • Spot opportunities to improve how we do things and keep customers smiling.
  • Assistance with other admin tasks when required

Who You Are

  • You’ve worked in customer service or admin before and know how to juggle tasks like a pro.
  • You're a computer wiz and can type quickly.
  • You’re bubbly, approachable, and comfortable talking to people (even on tricky days).
  • You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and solid grammar.
  • You’re a problem-solver who can think on your feet and stay calm under pressure.
  • You’re a quick learner who picks up new systems and processes fast.
  • You’re reliable, organised, and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves when needed.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience with Shopify, Gmail, or other customer service tools.
  • Can strike the perfect balance between friendly and professional in your writing.
