Hey, I’m Karisa!! My handle is @reader.riss (Riss is the name I’ve always answered to more, if you call me Karisa I usually assume I’m in trouble). I’m from the USA (Colorado, to be exact ❄️)
We need to know! What's your ideal reading setup?!
A blanket (non negotiable, even if it’s 100° 😅), preferably in bed or my comfy couch, a beverage (coffee or water) and silence, or a thunderstorm if possible please.
We know you love reading, but what hobbies do you have outside of inhaling books?!
I love to run and practice yoga! Those are things just for me; I’m a mom to two small boys so a lot of my day is spent being a dinosaur, a lego construction worker and their personal chef which I also love doing!
Favourite book or series of all time? Yes, just one. Sorry not sorry.

I hate Tamlin, but I think he should get a redemption arc 🫣
What book character do you resonate with and why?
Hermione. She taught me it was ok to be obsessed with books and learning when my peers in the real world at the time treated those things as way less cool.
Spill the tea: What is your favourite Quirky Cup item and why?!
This is so hard, I have yet to find an item I don’t adore! But I think the reading journal is my favorite; I won’t shut up about it.
Reading is a sacred pastime. What are your MUST have reading accessories?
Bookmark, glasses, and now I keep my QCC pen and journal near me so I can jot down notes or quotes if I find anything to help write my reviews!

And lastly, you were asked to be an ambassador for The Reading Journal & matching accessories; how are you finding them so far!? Be honest.
As everyone around me for the last few weeks can attest to, I absolutely LOVE them all! I am a very type-A organized person, and I can’t believe I lived so long without the reading journal 😂. I will never go back to my non-reading journaling ways. And on the same wavelength, my days of using cheapie pens are done too. I love how beautifully this pen writes! The bookmark has now put all my others into retirement, and I quite literally do not leave home without my booksleeve. I truly can’t say enough good things about these products!!
