Quirky Shipping Policy

All of your orders are packed with love & care by the Quirky Team and are shipped from Quirky HQ in Adelaide, South Australia.

The Quirky Cup Collective is currently a small team and we pack orders as quickly as we can! During busier times, you may have to wait a little longer, but we appreciate your patience and support. We will communicate any delays where we can.

Please note: Shipping prices listed above are the starting prices. Costs will vary depending on your shipping country and the contents of your order. For accurate shipping prices, please initiate the checkout process. 

  • Delivery Times: From our Adelaide Warehouse to your special corner of the world, every delivery is an adventure. Depending on whether your corner is in Australia or over the ocean, deliveries can take a few days or a few weeks! But you can sleep easy, because you can track your Quirky mail every step of the way, so you can plan your celebrations accordingly.
  • Eco-friendly Packaging: Eco friendly packaging is serious business, which is why I’ve created this special page about our efforts at The Quirky Cup Collective here. 
  • Local Pickups
    At this time, we do not facilitate pickups from our location. All orders are processed and shipped directly to the address provided at checkout.

International Shipping Affiliates

We ship to most countries over the world! The list below just highlights some of our most popular Quirky destinations.

We send all our parcels with AusPost, but once they reach your country, they switch to your local delivery service. You can use the same tracking number we provided to keep tabs on your package on your local carrier’s website. This way, you can get updates in your language or see even more details about your delivery!

Orders

Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via the email you supplied during checkout. If you haven’t received an email confirmation, please do us a little favour and check these dot points out before getting in touch with us.

  • Check your spam/junk/trash/deleted folders - they like to hide!
  • Is your inbox full? Clear out your inbox to receive your order confirmation. 
  • Did you spell your email address correctly?It’s okay, it happens to us all
  • If you used Paypal/Apple Pay, do you have a different email address linked? Easy to do!

Order Cancellation Policy

Changed your mind? No worries! For cancellations made before dispatch, we’ve got two options for you:

  • Full Store Credit: 100% of your order value ready to use anytime.
  • Refund: A 3.5% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Please contact us ASAP after placing your order to make the switch so we can get it sorted. If your order has already been packed by the team then unfortunately we won't be able to make any changes, sorry!

Packing Times

We always aim to pack your parcels as soon as possible and will send you a shipping confirmation along with your tracking information once it’s ready.

  • All parcels are sent with Australia Post and come with tracking.
  • Shipping times can vary for remote & rural locations.

Express Shipping gets your package moving faster, but we still pack orders in the order they come in, so it doesn’t bump your order to the front of the line sorry! We promise to have it on its way to you as quickly as we can!

Busy periods: Whether it's a special collection, sale or a festive season, we can sometimes hit peak hour packing and it takes us a little longer to pack your orders. We have an amazing dedicated packing team who always aim to pack orders asap, but sometimes we just need some extra time to handle the extra love shown to us! 

Discounts: Please make sure to enter your discount code before you hit 'complete order'! After it’s processed we can’t add it in, so please double check before you finish up.

International Shipping

All international orders are sent with Australia Post and include tracking.

  • Customs & Import Duties: Duties and taxes assessed by customs are the customer’s responsibility. We are legally obligated to provide shipping information regarding order value and must include an invoice for customs if required. If you have concerns about customs duties and taxes, please contact your local customs office for further information.
  • Currency & Conversion: Prices can be displayed in various currencies, but all orders will be transacted in AUD Dollars by your credit card company or payment provider upon completion of your purchase. Non-AUD Dollar order totals shown during checkout are estimates based on recent currency conversion rates and exclude taxes, duties, levies, or tariffs that may be imposed. If items are returned, refunds will be credited back in AUD Dollars at the current exchange rate.
  • My Country Isn't Listed: If your country doesn't appear during checkout, please email us and we will do our best to arrange delivery to you.

Returns Policy

We want you to be absolutely thrilled with your purchase! If you’re not feeling the love, you’ve got 30 days from delivery to start the returns process. Changed your mind or just not satisfied? No worries! Just get in touch and we’ll sort it out.

The Nitty-Gritty - Terms

  • Timing: Start your return within 30 days of receiving your goodies.
  • Condition: Item (s) need to be in their original, unused state with the original packaging still intact.
  • Approval: Contact customer service about your return and wait for our approval before sending anything back.

Not-So-Returnable or refund-able Items

  • Free gifts or promotional goodies
  • Sale/discounted items
  • Gift cards

Orders Marked as Return to Sender (RTS)

For any orders that bounce back to us due to one of the following reasons, a $10 AUD fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the return shipping:

  • The address provided was incomplete or incorrect
  • The delivery partner couldn't access the address
  • Customs fees or duties weren’t paid in time
  • The parcel was refused upon delivery
  • The customer refused to pay customs
  • The parcel wasn't picked up in time

How to Return

  1. Pop us an email with your order number, the items you’re returning, and why you’re returning them.
  2. Once you get the thumbs up from us, package up your items carefully. Original boxes aren’t a must, but any branded packaging should be included and in good shape.
  3. Label your parcel clearly and send it to:

  4. Drop your return off at your local post office or a trusted courier.
  5. If you’ve got a tracking number, share it with us!

Important Info

  • Under Australian Consumer Law (and similar rules), you’re responsible for the return shipping and handling costs.
  • For peace of mind, we recommend sending your return with tracking and insurance.
  • Keep any receipts or proof of postage until your return is finalised.
  • If your return doesn’t make it back to us safely and in original condition, we won’t be able to process the refund. Please pack mindfully and strongly consider insurance.
  • Refunds are for returned items only; initial and return shipping charges are non-refundable.

When Will I Get My Refund?

Once we get your return and inspect it, we’ll email you to let you know if it’s been approved. If so, your refund will be processed and credited back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

All customers are sent refund notifications. Please be sure to check your inbox and sneaky email folders for the notification. 

Incorrect or Faulty Items 

We’re really sorry if something's not quite right! 

 We can promise that the Quirky Team does their best to quality control and inspect all items to the highest standard before they are sent. So whether you have received a faulty item or it has arrived broken due to courier mishandling, please email us with all the details and be sure to take thorough photos of the item and packaging. We’ll get it sorted ASAP. Thanks for being patient!

 Items that get damaged from excessive everyday use, accidents, or not sticking to the care tips might not be considered faulty. We know you know this and understand, but we just have to say it so you know! 

As for incorrect or confused items? That’s our bad. We’re here to help though so please get in touch with us and be sure to include your order number and item details. 

Missing Items/Damaged Parcels

Okay STOP! Before we take this to the next level, pretty please do the following before anything else!

- Take photos and videos of your packaging before you throw it out
- Any plastic bags attached? Take a photo!
- Damaged labels attached? Snap away!

Okay, now we can continue. 

Always be sure to check your parcel and items as soon as they arrive. If anything’s damaged, snap some photos of the box and any damage notices from the delivery carrier (you’ve already done this though you clever thing!).

Please report any issues within 7 days of delivery so we can look into it properly. Our customer service team is here to help so please provide them with your order number and as much detail as you can provide. 

For missing items, check thoroughly inside the parcel and any sleeves or bags as we sometimes hide them to utilise the extra cushioning.

What If My Parcel Goes Missing?

If your order hasn’t arrived, is missing, or the tracking info isn’t updating, pop us an email! We’ll dive into action and work closely with each courier’s investigation process to track down your package to get it on track or come up with a solution! 

Remember to check your local carrier tracking via our international shipping affiliates mentioned in the shipping section.
