Quirky Crossword

Any reason to be completely unserious? I'll take it. 

I was on a short flight last week and hiding in the pocket of the plane seat wasn't a used chewing gum, but a Qantas magazine. It was a fun little day trip for work with Nat, and I didn't want to lug around my digitals so we ultimately raw-dogged the in flight entertainment. Yes, I know you can hook up to their wifi but it honestly sucks and for an hour flight? I actually couldn't be bothered. Plus I always feelgood about unplugging from online life while on the plane? I dunno. It might just be me but it's a mood. 

Anyways, we flipped through this magazine and looked at all the disgustingly expensive watches we'll never afford when we finally landed on the back pages. And in the back of that magazine for rich people, we found gold; a crossword. 

As a maker of pens it would be a crime to not have a pen on me, so I narrowly avoided arrest and pulled out the one pen I had. 

We didn't get to finish the crossword because I suspect it was made for people who came out the womb with a high IQ, but we got pretty close! But what this crossword actually did was spark my interest and keep me off my phone, so that's something I thought that would be fun to pass on to you today. 

I made a small and hopefully easy enough crossword that's got some fun quirky lore in it. You don't need to be in on the lore to participate, but if you do want to access the origin of some of these inside jokes, click to read up on them here.
